The second place I visited in Donegal was the Fanad Head. I aimed for a sunrise but since I was there and the sky was clear I decided to give it a try. The Milky Way rises later at this time of the year and the forecast was showing full overcast from 2 am so a starry sky was all I could only get. Still a nice change from the traditional stuff I do.
