Experimenting with long exposure light painting using my drone. The sculpture is by icelandic artist Hallsteinn Sigurðsson and is found in his sculpture park at the edge of Reykjavík.
It took a great number of attempts to get the drone to fly in a perfect circle, even though automated, the slightest wind will warp the course. Plus in the complete darkness, the drone didn't see the anchor point very well and kept losing it.
Taken around 3am on December 2nd 2023 in Reykjavík.
