This is from my first night of visiting the Palouse area of Washington. Taken from Steptoe Butte (which rises 1000' + over the farm hills). I was fortunate enough to to be there with skies peppered with clouds which allowed the sun to light up peaks of the hills... just have to wait for it. Which I did. It was the most peaceful several hours. Everyone must visit this place.
