It is my favorite photo of the year because of how it makes me relive the splendor of watching such a fantastic animal. I know this is likely not meaningful to anyone else, but it is my favorite.

Thank you, Clare. As a hobbyist, it is important to keep in mind that you do photography for yourself and not others. I like to share what I have done and I am proud of my work. I kind of figured that the rating here would be lower than how I would rate it...people are fickle. Regardless, this is my favorite of the year, and I am glad others got to see it.
