Château de Chambord. From my recent photo roadtrip in Europe a month ago. As an architecture interested person, there is no better country than the land of castles and palaces, France.. to go to. Considering the sheer number of beautiful and amazing architecture. The amount is astounding, with about 45 000 castles and chateau`s and palaces! This 500 year old chateau located in the Loire valley in the middle of France, is one the most beautiful in France, and the world. Built under King Francis I in 1500, to serve as a hunting lodge....so nothing excessive there.. But he spent only 7 weeks there in total, with short stays. With a group of usually about 2000 hunters etc. It was a very unpractical place, far from the nearest village and food sources. Proper heating of the enormous 448 rooms, 282 fireplaces and 84 staircases was almost impossible. Shot at a good distance of about 900 feet with Sony A7riii and the Tamron 28-200mm at 57mm. A combination of a long exposure sky, and a short exposure, to get the look I wanted.
