I shot this on my Nikon D800, and 24-70mm lens in 2018. I now shoot on Mirrorless Nikon and film cameras but still love my Nikon D800.

I took this photo on a lifestyle portrait session while hiking. I love the juxtaposition of femininity and ruggedness. I wanted to focus in on the scraped knees, evidence of frequent hiking. The floral dress is delicate and has beautiful texture.
