Våghuset, ”the wave house”, in Gothenburg. This was one of my first ever photographs and it’s raked with my Nikon FE on HP5 film stock. Still my camera pf choose and one of my most used films. Våghuset is a quite controversial building when it was built since it’s one of the first modern high rise building in the otherwise old school area of Majorna. Since it was one of my first ever photos, the biggest challenge was to get the exposure and manual focus just right. It’s also the first time I developed the film myself to to not mess that up was of course also a big challenge. Very happy with this photo and probably the only architectural photo I’ve taken that could be a sick print for hanging on the wall! The one improvement I would like is to have the sky brighter to bump up the contrast even higher.
