Photo is of an acrylic ornament that I held up in front of our Christmas tree.
Had my Nikon D90 for a little over a year, and then, around the holidays I got my first 50mm, f1.8 prime lens and wanted to test out the shallow depth of field / bokeh. This was the very first photo I took with that lens. The main challenges with this photo is reducing how much the ornament moved and that the only source of light was the from the string lights on the tree.
Since I recently purchased Luminar Neo, I did a re-edit of this image using that tool.
I'm currently shooting with a Canon 90D.
