This image is from a trip to Norway last summer. Early on the morning on a hike towards Trolltunga, a famous rock formation, the clouds suddenly disappear down towards the fjord giving us the first glimpse of the sun. This is taken just before midsummer, yet the snow has just cleared from the majority of the hike. The biggest challenge was that the weather was constantly changing many and timing the perfect movement of the clouds, it could go from light snow to bright sunny and back within a minute. I’m really happy with the colors and the simplicity of this landscape. Have this hanging in my entrance on a 80x60 print, but on the print I cropped it slightly so that the edge of the background and the yellow grass align in the corner.

Shot on a thrifted Nikon FE with Portrait 400 stock. This is my first and current camera (that’s not a point and shoot) and was a cheap way to get into photography and now it has become one of my biggest hobbies!
