1.9 - "Needs Work"

Canon EOS 350D
18-55mm kit lens.

It was taken in Buzios, Brazil.
It's been 9 years since this photo was taken so details are fuzzy but I remember we were walking around during sunset and I caught glimpse of a group of children jumping into the sea and I had to take a few snapshots.

The biggest difficulty for me taking this photo was getting up close to my subjects, I usually avoid photographing people due to shyness but the kids were so into the moment and having so much fun, and the objective of the photo was so clear that this time it was not a problem for me.
Another issue was low light, the EOS 350D has a fair amount of grain on high iso values and I try avoiding raising it above 800.

As I said before the photo was taken 9 years ago, I lost the raw file and had to download it from Facebook so I lost the EXIF data but I'm pretty sure it was taken using aperture priority mode (it's what I use by default) and a single point auto-focus (my go to with this camera).

Edition probably includes cropping, and for sure the classic exposure/highlights/shadows/luminosity adjustments but nothing else, at that time I'd never tried color grading.

As of last month I'm shooting with an Olympus E-M5 MkIII and a Lumix 14-140mm II, but the EOS 350D has served me well for the past 9 years.
