Portrait of Lucia on a warm and sunny partly cloudy day doing a shoot on spec for CHIC magazine we were in the desert at Auga Dulce Canyon in So Cal.. I did full layout of her, this shot is one of the portrait shots I always liked of her of course it was all in color,, and 35mm w/ F3 & Velvia 100. ..She's from Czech Republic, she hung out in LA for a couple months then she had to go back and I never saw her again.

Scoring this picture is impossible. It's obviously more than a snapshot (1). We could only say that it needs work if we knew what the intent of the photographer was, and to make a normal photograph with realistic colors is probably not it. Saying it needs work (2) is like saying the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz should be Caucasian instead of green. That leaves us with portfolio worthy (3) and I can't help but wonder how this might fit into a portfolio. Certainly doesn't fit with fancy race cars. Who would be interested in a body of work containing similar type images? Are there even any others like this. A theme of nuclear winter perhaps... I could imagine this in a portfolio of that nature.

Scoring this picture was very easy to do. This picture made me stop. You have succeeded in creating a special atmosphere that tells a story.
Perfectly, you show yourself through this picture. It doesn't have to be better than this.
