This is 18th-century brew master re-enactor Richard Wagner of Hatboro, Pennsylvania, demonstrating the colonial beer making process at a local historical society. He portrays a typical 1750s itinerant brew master -- the craftsmen whose horses and wagons carted mini-breweries from colonial farm to colonial farm. A widely-recognized brewing historian, he researched and oversaw the creation of all the hand-made equipment and implements used 275 years ago. I took this photo about twelve years ago on an Olympus OM-D E-M5.
