Another shot from the SFX scar makeup shoot.

My friend brought his father-in-law to model for us. We were aiming to create a gangster-style character, but in the end, I also wanted to capture a classic portrait of him with the scar. This turned out to be my favorite image of the day.

The setup used three lights: a softbox with a grid as the key light, a large softbox on-axis as fill, and a background light with a grid. Edited in Photoshop.
