This image of actor Taylor Negron shot around 2010 was made with three lights. Two Paul C. Buff X1600s in large soft boxes on the white paper background and an Alien Bee AB800 ring light with the large Moon Unit soft box as the overall key. On the floor I used white reflective board from the hardware store. The challenge was even lighting but I was able to get that with the large key light on a boom placed above and to the side. Surprisingly, very little cleanup was needed, just some background spots and scuffs on the ground. It was shot with a Canon 5D with the 24-70 L lens.
