This photo was taken in a nearby botanical garden, "Ringve botaniske hage". There were two big flower beds on either side of a path, with a large amount of various flowers. I walked around them several times, looking for the best stand point to get as much as possible in camera, with good structure and evenly spread colors. Cloudy sky, very close to sunset. Olympus E-PL3 and Lumix 25(50)mm prime. Shot wide open, to get as much light as possible, which also gave a nice shallow depth of field. f/1.7, 1/320 sec, ISO 200.

It just doesn't feel sharp,
The depth of field is shallow, most is out of focus. The blue and white flowers are in focus (but not pin sharp). The colors are good though?
Other than getting the focus right, I'm really not very concerned about sharpness or megapixels. I have more of an "impressionist" attitude toward images.
