Used my window as a light source on an overcast day to shoot my freidn who was wearing a saree. There were too many colors on the costume and in the background, that is why I decided to keep this image as a black n white to really bring out that directional lighting.

This is one of several images in the contest where natural lighting produces fantastic images. Most of us who don't do much portrait photography tend to think that you can't make good pictures without a whole arsenal of strobes, reflectors, modifiers, etc.; but your photograph here proves that you can make beautiful portraits with nothing more than a camera and some imagination. Very nice! I love the black and white, but your comment has made me curious what the color version looks like.
