Near the end of a very frustrating day of photography in Glacier National Park, we went to the most touristy spot on Lake McDonald and the weather across the lake was dreary and gray...some of my favorite weather to shoot in. This was an extremely foggy/rainy day and it was just starting to clear. The clearings of dead trees leading across into a living forest seemed to follow the light.
