This was one of the first, winter pictures, I've took with my camera when I just began . So it's very old and I don't even know the settings I've used back then. But it was also in a time/year that it was, snowy. Like this picture I wasn't able to remake since then as it barely snowed, let stand the sun was standing right. I was just beginning so I had to found out everything still but I loved the view this gave and thus made the shot. It was like a minute walk from my home in Gouda, The Netherlands. I do hope this is right for this contest.

No doubt that it qualifies as soft light. That aspect of the light, and how snow often seems to create a quiet, tranquil, peaceful sort of mood, all combine for a wonderful photograph. Consider straightening the vertical lines of your buildings... would be a slight improvement in my mind.
