"Forest Over McDonald McDonald Creek" I love this area and go there as often as possible. This particular morning I got there early, at least an hour before sunrise to set up my camera and be ready when the light was bright enough to be able to work. Illumination was out of the west sky before the sun crossed over the mountains behind me, it was reflected out of the opposite sky to the west. That is one of the most reliable sources of soft light since the open sky acts as a giant reflector to reflect light back into the scene. I used a Toyo 45A view camera, a 210mm Sironar-S lens, no filter and Kodak T-Max 100 film rated at ASA 50. As I recall it the exposure was something like 3 minutes at f-32
