This photograph was taken last autumn in Finland. I was walking past a beautiful house draped in golden leaves, and I was captivated by the way the light filtered through them. In editing, I focused on creating a warm, glowing atmosphere that reflected the soft autumn light I experienced that day, and I composed the shot to frame the house with the surrounding trees. The biggest challenge was post-processing, as there was a significant color cast that I worked to remove to the best of my ability. It was shot handheld with a Panasonic Lumix S5 and a Lumix S 20–60 mm f/3.5–5.6 lens, paired with a Moment CineBloom diffusion filter to soften the light.
