My wife and I were in Breckenridge, Colorado during aspen leaf-peeping season last year (2024). While walking through town, I noticed several aspen leaves caught in pine needles. I took this photo around sunset, but this leaf was a bit inside the pine boughs, so the light was even further diffused from the already diffused late-day sunlight.
