On the surface this is an image of a beautiful fashion model in a rustic garden setting. This had a little more significance for me since the model in the photo is one whom I originally photographed as a 6 year old child model for a bridal fashion magazine. I later photographed her a few times as a young teen and loosely stayed in touch as she grew. This was the first chance I'd had to photograph her as an adult. She'd spent time modeling in LA and was now back on the east coast.

The garden was at brother's historic farm house with lush ivy growing over 150 yr old stone walls. The technical on this was simple in that it was open shade from the shadow of the house. Not all models can be photographed with essentially broad-lighting, but this angle came out with an intriguing quality.
