"Titanium and Riverlight"
I photographed the Guggenheim Bilbao at blue hour to show the conversation between past and present along the Nervión. Gehry’s titanium skin holds the day’s last warmth while La Salve Bridge pulls the eye into the frame; the river, once a working artery, becomes a calm reflector. The long exposure softens the water to isolate form and material—titanium, concrete, and glass—so the architecture reads as sculpture. Maman, the spider by Louise Bourgeois, anchors the human scale and hints at fragility inside all that steel. This image is about a city that rebuilt itself without erasing where it came from.
