This photo was taken just after sunset in Great Sand Dunes National Park. I had hiked miles through the park looking for interesting compositions. This one caught my eye on the last night I was there.
This photo was taken on a Nikon D750 with a Nikkor 24-70 mm lens. The shutter speed was 1/15 sec, the aperture f/9.

Good image overall. The part in the bottom left corner (with the visible details) bothers me a bit. It is different from the rest of the image in terms of details and pulls the eye because of that - it breaks the pattern of the more flowing diagonal lines of the rest of the dunes. Maybe crop it out or deemphasize the texture in that area? Just a thought
