Portrait of actor and singer-songwriter Tatu.

I wanted to create a simple, dark, and moody portrait. For lighting, I used my go-to setup with two large softboxes—one on the right side of the camera and another on-axis for fill. I also experimented with a flag placed just slightly in front of Tatu’s face on the camera-right side.

The final image was graded and edited in Photoshop.
