This image of the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier was captured in August 2025 using a 3-stop neutral density filter to soften the sunset light and allow for a slightly longer exposure, resulting in smoother wave motion. Post-processing was completed in Lightroom, with additional cleanup in Photoshop to remove motion blur from a passing couple and some distracting seaweed in the foreground.
