I waited several months for just the right amount of fog to pass through so I could attempt to get this photo.

I needed the fog to be large enough so the scene would be evenly lit. I also needed the fog to have the right density so the lighting wouldn't be too flat or harsh.

It took me over an hour to get one that met both requirements. I thought I would have to give up and do a composite, as I had already been to this spot many times and failed.
