Taken just before sunset in Manistee, Michigan with a Nikon Z9 and the Tamron 35-150mm f2-2.8 Zmount lens at 35mm. I was shooting gulls so my shutter was a bit faster than necessary which pushed the ISO higher than ideal, I typically shoot action with auto ISO. I just turned, saw the scene, stopped down the aperture to get some depth and took a quick "snap shot". Didn't think much of it at the time but on the computer it turned out to be my favorite image of the evening. Wish I had put some more thought in it at the time and slowed the shutter a little to shed some ISO. Settings: 1/1000, f8, ISO-2800.
