Reese, a 10-year old Yellow Lab, is photographed with a Nikon Z8 at a focal length of 115mm with a Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 lens, 1/640, f4 and ISO 800. His owner whose hands are hugging him told me that she wanted a photo session a in beautiful park with "just me and my dog." She clearly loved Reese dearly. I tried to live up to her wish with a variety of candids while she walked, sat on a bench and played with Reese in the grass. I gave Reese generous amounts of peanut butter! in this photo, I tried to capture a Happy-Go-Lucky dog with a reciprocal love for his mom.
