This photograph was taken in my studio with a Sony A7RIII, using a blue background to create depth and contrast against the wings. I lit the scene with a 120cm octabox overhead fitted with a grid, carefully positioned to symbolize light descending from above, reminiscent of a heavenly glow. The main challenge was balancing the softness of the light with the dramatic shadows, ensuring the wings retained detail and texture while keeping the subject’s pose serene and angelic.
