A photograph of a plant known as Black-Eyed Susan photographed at one of my local nature reserves during their community open day. There was a whole bed of these flowers, the only problem was finding one that stood out and was framed effectively by those surrounding it.
Photograph take using one of my favourite combinations of 70-200 zoom coupled with a 24mm extension tube.
Lighting was overcast but bright enough to use what I regard as a fairly low iso of 400 (back in the days when I shot on film I would think of this as a fairly high iso and most of my work was done using Ilford FP4 at 125 iso).
Image developed using DxO PhotoLab and Nik Collection.
