This was from my most recent shoot just a few days ago, and it’s the clearest example of the mood I’m always chasing—quiet, cinematic, and a little uneasy in the best way. I’m drawn to scenes where light feels intentional and isolating, where the negative space does as much storytelling as the subject itself. That single bulb against the star-patterned wall became a kind of “small beacon” in a big, still frame.

What I love about this one is that the edit revealed itself immediately. The room was relatively bright, but when I saw the piece I knew exactly how I wanted it to feel in the final image—subdued, focused, and atmospheric, with the light carrying the weight of the scene. I shot it with that end result in mind, then shaped the tones to match what I saw in my head the moment I found it.
