Retired but never forgotten. This 1966 Ford F100, now rusted and stationary, never made it back to the garage. The truck that made so many projects possible sets outside of my stepfather's home. A tribute to its durability and dependability, a reminder of accomplishments that lead to its final resting place, displayed in nature to enhance the beauty of all that surrounds it. Just after dusk, with a touch of snow and some dense mountain fog, the scene could not have been more ideal as Christmas quickly approaches. Family, separated and scattered through the world, reunited to celebrate the holidays. Reminiscing on memories of the past, some wonderful, some questionable, and some a bit hazy. This photo encapsulates the essence of our 2025 Christmas reunion to perfection. The beauty of the past. A light guiding the possibilities of stored potential. And a haze of uncertainty in a forest of choices yet to come.
