While visiting Ireland in October I was photographing the Howth Lighthouse and surrounding area when this lovely couple walked past. I instantly saw a good shot! The elderly couple walking together arm in arm, having conversation and getting exercisie together. I just felt this connection to them and felt that they had such history together. Of course, I loved the contrast between the pink and brown jackets and with the lighthouse in background. It is one of my favorite images in Ireland.
