I've had the opportunity to photograph the Red-tailed Comet (Sappho sparganurus) on several occasions and in various locations. However, in December 2025, during a visit to San Javier, a tourist destination in Tucumán, Argentina, I had a truly unique encounter. The bird was wandering among the flowers without fear of the visitors, so I was able to make a large number of photographs. This is one of my best photos of 2025. Happy New Year to all!
