This is Henry, an orangutan at the Cincinnati Zoo. When I got to his exhibit he spotted me with my camera and kept his face turned away for some time. But not unlike photographing senior portraits, he eventually trusted me and gave me his full attention. Then he looked right through the lens as if to reach into my soul. I'm very happy that I got to capture it!
