A storm had just passed through and the clouds were dispersing just as the sun was setting and some colors started to pop along with some dark clouds which gave everything a blue hue. This was one of my favorite places in Venice to capture the sunset but hurricane Helene and Milton in 2024 took out the Jetty which will not be rebuilt for a several years. The US Army Corp of Engineers estimates it will be up to $100 million to rebuild this great sunset and fishing spot.
I shot this with a Nikon z7ii and used a long exposure to smooth out the water.
