I always admired this house and waited for a good snowfall as I knew it would simplify the elements making it perfect for a b&w image. I persisted for several years revisiting many times and finally found framing it between the two large trees was what I needed for the final image.

Handheld at 1/320 second, f/5.6 at 16mm.

The trees are monumental and beg to be seen as large as they could be. The smaller details of the house also come into view better in a larger format.
