Going to the top of the Istanbul Sapphire in the Levent district takes you on a fast elevator 54 floors up that makes your ears pop. From the roof, you get a sweeping view of the sprawling urban neighborhoods and landscape of one of the largest cities in the world. This shot is long exposure from a Nikon D700 (18-200mm), tripod mounted. The unique vantage point makes the streets and lighting look like urban lava. This would be great as a wall print because it makes the viewer want to pause and understand what they are looking at.
