Holyhead, Anglesey.

I took this photo on the evening of the 'Ring O Fire' ultramarathon of 131 miles around the coast of the island, whilst crewing for my brother in laws attempt at the race. Whilst documenting their efforts I stopped to take several scenic images of the landscape where humans and nature interact.

On the evening of the first day around 12 hours into the race we stopped by Trwyn Du Lighthouse to wait for his arrival and get him his fuel for the rest of the race. As it was golden hour it was a great time to this shot with the rocks, lighthouse, sea and clouds making for interesting layers and beautiful light on the building.
