Shanay, Mescalero Apache, is a portrait of a young Native American woman. She is wearing traditional garb and also an eagle feather. This image was made while I was demonstrating outdoor portraiture for my students at the college where I teach, New Mexico State University. Lighting is all available as the sun was setting and lit the scene dramatically. Camera was a Fujifilm GS 50sii with 100-200 Fujinon lens.
