Episode 13 of Kilauea's ongoing eruption, captured an hour before sunrise from the North rim of the Caldera in March 2025. Glowy lava shots are a personal favorite, particularly when illuminated by gallery lights, which allow the eruption to take on an almost-backlit quality.

This is a 5-frame exposure bracket, shot on a Sony A7 II with a Tamron 28-200mm at 200mm, f/5.6.

Fantastic, although I'm not sure I like central composition.
