The image is the result of stitching 3x2 infrared images taken with a full spectrum Samsung NX1100 equipped with a 680nm infrared filter. The image was then post produced to obtain a black and white rendition and cropped in a 3:2 aspect ratio, resulting in a 9000x6000px image.
I think this photo would be a good candidate for a large-scale print because it leans heavily into tonal contrast and intricate texture, both of which gain a lot of "breathing room" when printed big. Furthermore the sharpness of the white foliage against the void of the sky creates a striking, ethereal glow that feels immersive when it occupies a wall.
