Sunrise in Florence Italy over the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.
The challenge of this photo was first, obtaining my Italian drone pilot's license but that was small potatoes compared to forcing myself out of bed every morning before sunrise, finding a suitable launch location that wouldnt disturb any locals with a clear line of site to my subject. Construction work was alsp taking place on the opposite side of the cathedral so unfortuntaely i had limited framing options.
The new fiancee was none too pleased that she found the bed empty every morning.
I think it would make a great large print due to the amount of small detail in each avenue and road leading to the cathedral and of course, the cathedral itself.
