After an overnight flight to Reykjavik with little sleep, we made the six hour drive to Stokksnes. The next morning, gave us a dreamworld beyond description—an orange sunrise, turned waves to lavender on the black sand beach. I couldn't have hoped for a better moment for some intentional pan shots. Despite a full moon, the waves—so often harsh on this beach—were calm, allowing for a softness to transmit into the image.
