Taken at dusk @ Ft Flagler, WA. The sun peaked out as it was just above the horizon and lit up the scene for only a moment. Strangely enough, the seabird seemed to be a willing subject as it held pose for over a minute with wings outstretched allowing me to go to 1/25 sec.exposure @ iso 400. Taken w/ a Nikon D610 at 500mm. Some minor dodging & burning in LR.
