I became fascinated one winter morning with these icicles forming within the panes of a window (that was obviously poorly sealed). This is not something we were use to seeing in our part of the world, so I played for awhile with just my iPhone light at different angles and a piece of black construction paper. Each icicle was unique! No two were the same so many compositions were possible. This one reminded me of a sailing ship, sailing through the cold barren seas, with a seabird keeping a watchful eye from above.
