A handheld night photograph taken in the old town of Santiago de Compostela, using a 35mm lens at 1/30s. I was drawn to the quiet atmosphere of the historic streets and the solitary figure walking through the scene.

I titled the photograph Thinking Stroll because of the irregular stain on the wall, which almost looks like thoughts emerging from the person's head as they walk :).

The editing was deliberately kept to a minimum: essentially adjustments to exposure, white balance and texture, with no major alterations to the original image. I wanted to preserve the natural light and atmosphere of the moment as faithfully as possible.
