On this particular climb of Cadair Idris, a mountain in Wales, I decided to go light as the route was pretty physical. So I took a compact and, for a laugh, a Gold Line plastic camera which has a plastic lens and loaded it with Illford Pan F. This is a frame from the plastic camera. After being developed in dilute Rodinal, I scanned it in colour and made minor adjustments to contrast, levels and colour. I think any further editing would not have improved the photo.
