After shooting for the San Diego Automotive Museum for 6 months, I was able to save up enough money to purchase a Nikon Z8 and a 35mm Z-mount prime lens. My previous body was a D3500 with lenses from my D90 kit.

I shot this during the museum's annual Shifting Gears Rally while sitting on the windowsill as my son drove alongside and slightly ahead of the Corvette. This and many other photos were shared with the vehicle owners and used in promotional marketing for next year's event.
